Kumbha Mela festival is one of the biggest religious gatherings in the world: where the confluence of sacred rivers is more than a spiritual hot spot. I joined the crowds in a dazzling experience, walking the dusty streets of Allahbad among a out-of-time human landscape. In those days I visited towns and village streets of northern India, moving from rural landscapes to crowded railway stations , wandering through hidden corners and places. The mix of colors, scents, eyes and voices are all ingredients of a deep experience, of which these pictures are just a glimpse.
